Training Description:
As the clinical research industry transitions toward digitized, machine-readable protocol designs, the CDISC Unified Study Definitions Model (USDM) serves as the foundational data model driving automation and cross-system interoperability. However, leveraging its full potential to downstream solutions often requires additional features.
This 3-hour hands-on workshop is designed to demystify the USDM API extension mechanism, empowering developers and data architects to tailor the platform to their specific use case needs like study feasibility assessments, EDC automation, translations, and operational documentation.
Through interactive modeling exercises and real-world implementation use cases, attendees will master best practices for designing scalable, compliant extensions that uphold the integrity of the reference architecture.
Target Audience:
This workshop is designed for clinical data architects, biomedical informaticians, clinical systems developers, and standards managers who possess a foundational understanding of the TransCelerate/CDISC DDF initiative and wish to successfully build, extend, or consume USDM-compliant digital workflows.
