Understanding USDM: On-Demand Training

Course Description: 

This introductory training provides a foundational understanding of the Unified Study Design Model (USDM), with a focused exploration of the Schedule of Activities (SoA) and Study Definition Documents. It is designed to help participants grasp the core structure and purpose of the USDM within a clinical study context.

Through a combination of short videos, interactive exercises, and real-world use cases, learners will gain experience with how USDM components are applied in practice.

The course is structured into ten chapters, each featuring:

• A focused video
• A related optional practice activity to reinforce learning

At the end of this training, learners will be able to:

• Recognize the structure and constraints of USDM based on the model and Controlled Terminology
• Demonstrate how the Schedule of Activities (SoA) can be covered in USDM
• Translate USDM-related information into study design documents in various formats (e.g., M11)
