SDTM in Action Module 5: ​Interventions

Description

This training focuses on recognizing variables used in the Interventions general observation class and how SDTM Identifiers, Topic and Qualifiers, and Timing variables are used to create Interventions domains. Participants will also explore the SDTMIG v3.3 modeled Interventions domains, including Concomitant/Prior Medications, Exposure, Procedures, Substance Use, Meal Data, and Procedure Agents. Examples from the Panacea Protocol are included.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this module, learners will be able to:

• Recognize variables used in the Interventions general observation class.
• Understand how SDTM Identifiers, Topic and Qualifiers, and Timing variables are used to create Interventions domains
• Become aware of the modeled Interventions domains in the SDTMIG v3.3.
